Invotec was started in Dayton, Ohio, and has been helping medical device manufacturers around the globe solve complex assembly, test, and inspection challenges for over 25 years. After joining the HAHN Group in 2017, Invotec is expanding its international presence with a new location in Villingen-Schwenningen, Germany.

"Southern Germany is a long-standing hub for medical technology as well as automation across Europe," said Armin Doser, CEO of Invotec GmbH. "With our experience in medical device manufacturing, we want to show our commitment to growing and serving this region as well as our existing international customers."

Invotec's new facility is 730 square meters (7,858 square feet) and will provide a range of solutions from semi-automated stations to full production lines. "In the U.S., we are known for helping medical device manufacturers determine the right level of automation to improve production while maintaining quality. This is the experience I am most looking forward to bringing our customers internationally," said John Hanna, CEO of Invotec.

As part of the HAHN Group, Invotec GmbH is supported by a network of companies specializing in automation and robotics. Together, the group has 20 subsidiaries across 12 countries. Invotec GmbH focuses on applications in the medical device industry and provides customers complete equipment solutions from engineering and design to production, installation, and service. Located close to sister companies such as Waldorf Technik, the synergy of the HAHN Group and the opening of Invotec GmbH will give medtech companies access to a global network of automation best practices and support.

Invotec designs and builds custom assembly, test, and inspection equipment for medical device manufacturers. The company specializes in applications with complicated assembly processes—providing a range of fully-automated and semi-automated solutions. Its approach allows customers to refine their product design; its technical capabilities include complex assembly equipment, controls engineering, error proofing, machine vision systems, mechanical assembly systems, micro laser processing, precision joining, and test systems.

The HAHN Group consists of a network of specialized companies for industrial automation and robot solutions. With production sites in China, Czech Republic, Croatia, Germany, Great Britain, India, Israel, Mexico, Switzerland, Sweden, Turkey, and the United States, the group employs approximately 1,300 staff at 20 locations. Well-known customers from the automotive, consumer goods, electronics, and medical technology industries benefit from the HAHN Group's 30 years of expertise.
