Tek Pak Incorporated is proud to announce the opening of a new 35,000 square-foot manufacturing facility in St. Charles, IL. This is Tek Pak’s third manufacturing facility in the Fox Valley area.
This new location is now the home of their consolidated thermoforming division. The thermoforming division’s focus is providing high quality products and packaging to the electronics, medical and food industries.
Within this new facility, Tek Pak has invested in a 3,000 square-foot cleanroom. This clean room houses existing Kiefel equipment as well as a new state of the art Kiefel thermoformer which Tek Pak took delivery of in December.
While this facility and equipment are important for expansion it will also allow Tek Pak to grow and streamline other areas of the business. Carrier tape products and thermoform tooling will continue to be pillars of the company and this expansion will create more capacity and manufacturing efficiencies for their customers.
“We see opportunities in developing and running products for the medical, food and electronic industries that other thermoformers aren’t interested in running,” said Tony Beyer, president of Tek Pak. “We pride ourselves on providing technically demanding thin and barrier solutions that can’t be matched in the industry.”
