Resonetics and Meraqi Medical have established a strategic alliance to make it easier for customers to realize their new product development milestones. The technical teams from both companies have worked successfully on many projects over the years. Combining Meraqi’s design, development, and finished device assembly expertise, with component and sub-assembly manufacturing expertise at Resonetics, the alliance will enable full development and commercialization of technically challenging devices. Now the two teams are making the benefits of the alliance more easily accessible to their customers. Both companies focus on high growth segments of the medical device market including bioelectronics, interventional, structural heart, and neurovascular and have a track record of enabling next-generation products that incorporate challenging miniaturization requirements.
“We have embraced innovation and speed as critical components to our success”, said Tom Burns, president & CEO at Resonetics. “Meraqi has a similar mantra and with this strategic alliance, we will now make it easier for our customers to access proven design, development and manufacturing capabilities. We know how important speed to market and design for manufacturability are to our customers and they will appreciate the innovative and customer-centric approach at Meraqi.”
“Meraqi Medical is a young company, but our team has decades of experience dedicated to helping companies advance their technologies to market” noted Al Hershey, CEO, Meraqi Medical. “Partnering with best-in-class suppliers allows us to advance our customers’ projects quickly and efficiently. Our team has a passion for innovation while also putting a high value on being flexible and easy to work with and our alliance with Resonetics addresses both attributes”, added Julie Schulte, president, Meraqi Medical.
The two companies will remain independent but will utilize their combined capabilities where appropriate. With Meraqi headquartered in Fremont, Calif. and Resonetics having sites in California, New England, the Midwest, Costa Rica, and Europe, the alliance is well suited to service medical device customers wherever they are located.
