Cambridge based Inotec AMD Limited’s NATROX Oxygen Wound Therapy has earned the prestigious 2018 Product Leadership Award in Chronic Wound Care Management from Frost & Sullivan.
The Frost & Sullivan’s Global Product Leadership award recognizes companies that deliver consistent high standards in product leadership, technological innovation, customer service, and strategic product development across multiple markets, sectors and geographies. NATROX Oxygen Wound Therapy is a small portable device designed simply to heal chronic wounds. The NATROX Oxygen Wound Therapy consists of two main components, the NATROX Oxygen Delivery System (ODS) and the NATROX Oxygen Generator (OG). The NATROX OG extracts moisture from the surrounding air and by water electrolysis converts it to oxygen, while the NATROX ODS delivers this pure humidified oxygen through a flexible tube to the wounded area. The oxygen-rich environment over the wound bed accelerates the healing process.
According to Frost & Sullivan, Inotec AMD’s innovative NATROX Oxygen Wound Therapy has proven to be highly effective in treating non-healing chronic wounds in a home care environment. The product’s simple yet intuitive design, ease-of-use, and flexible integration into existing wound care workflows as well as its evidence-based clinical performance is the new gold standard in treating hypoxic wounds that have not healed for an extended period of time, such as a year or two. The company’s innovative positioning and flexible purchase models, coupled with the high cost-effectiveness to care providers in terms of faster healing time, reduced nurse hours, consumables expenses, and higher patient satisfaction is expected to offer unmatched growth opportunities for the company. The product, having been able to demonstrate significant value to wound care providers, is ideally positioned to expand to newer conditions and markets, thereby ensuring sustainable long-term growth opportunities. With its strong overall performance, Inotec AMD has earned Frost & Sullivan’s 2018 Product Leadership Award.
Craig Kennedy, CEO, commented, “I am very proud that the dedication of the whole Inotec team has been recognized through this award. It is through their combined efforts that Inotec has evolved from a small startup company to a globally recognized innovator in wound care technology which has the potential to improve the lives of millions of people around the world.”
Inotec AMD Limited will be attending the Frost & Sullivan’s Excellence in Best Practices Awards Banquet on the October 4, 2018, at the Royal Garden Hotel in London.
