Christina Anné has been named vice president of Distribution Channel Management (DCM) for Cook Medical. The DCM team will be dedicated to serving the needs of Cook’s distributors around the world and to ensure compliant and ethical access to Cook Medical products to distribution markets.
“I believe that working together with our new divisions, Vascular and MedSurg, will enhance the overall experience for distributors,” said Anné. “I am enthusiastic that these changes will foster meaningful relationships with distributors while expanding access to our product for clinicians and patients around the world.”
Anné plans to focus on expanded distributor governance programs, strategic business development by market, and elevating engagement with Cook Medical's distributors through expanded programs like communication and training.
“Christina is a great example for her team,” said Pete Yonkman, president of Cook Group and Cook Medical. “She is an exemplary leader and her experience in various roles in the company and regions of the world will help her to strengthen long-term connections between Cook and our distributors.”
Anné began her career with Cook in 1990 as a territory manager in Belgium-Luxemburg. Over the next few decades, she became a European product manager, regional sales and marketing manager, and since 2008, vice president and global business unit leader for Reproductive Health.
Since 1963 Cook Medical has worked closely with physicians to develop technologies that eliminate the need for open surgery. Today the company combines medical devices, biologic materials and cellular therapies to help the world's healthcare systems deliver better outcomes more efficiently.
