J-Pac Medical has appointed Jeff Barrett as president and CEO. With more than 25 years of experience building high-growth medical product-based companies, Barrett will lead the advancement of J-Pac’s growth strategy, pursuing opportunities to further drive adoption of the company’s current offerings and optimizing its capabilities to better serve customers.
Prior to joining J-Pac Medical, Barrett was CEO of GI Supply and Optim LLC, and vice president of Operations at Haemonetics and Aspect Medical Systems. He is also a successful entrepreneur, according to J-Pac Medical officials. By applying his operational and engineering know-how, Barrett founded Eggrock Modular Solutions, which became a disruptive new business in the building technology industry. Barrett has the proven expertise building and managing high performance management teams; developing and implementing optimized operating infrastructure and manufacturing processes; and both improving existing product pipelines and growing new ones that is required to identify and solve customer needs.
“As we look to take J-Pac Medical to the next level in terms of growth and profitability, we are privileged to appoint a CEO of Jeff Barrett’s caliber who brings a skillset that includes leading entrepreneurial ventures, developing new products, establishing sales and marketing strategy, and driving operational excellence,” said Joseph Parzick, chairman of J-Pac Medical. “As proven by his impressive track record, Jeff is both strategic and a visionary and we are confident he will be able to recognize new opportunities and work collaboratively with our team and customers to make J-Pac an even stronger company.”
Jeff Barrett holds an MBA from Boston University’s Graduate School of Management and a B.S. in industrial engineering and B.A. in economics from Rutgers University.
“I am pleased to join the J-Pac Medical team and believe my combination of business and engineering expertise and my hands-on leadership approach will enable improvements to J-Pac’s business model and ensure we are operating as effectively as possible for the benefit of our valued customers,” said Barrett.
