Terracon Corporation, a provider of custom fluid management solutions to businesses in various industries, has been awarded ISO 9001 certification by TUV USA for implementation of a quality management system.
The international standard for quality and excellence in industries ranging from food safety to computers to healthcare, ISO registered companies must undergo an extensive audit by an independent agency and demonstrate their commitment to quality management principles, including a strong customer focus; leadership that establishes a clear vision of the organization’s future; systems and processes that deliver consistent, predictable results; and an organization-wide approach to continual operational improvement.
“Adding the ISO designation to our credentials marks yet another milestone for our company,” said Rob Jewett, president of Terracon. “Last year we moved to a new, larger facility that would accommodate our continued growth–and now we’re ISO 9001 certified. This reflects the company’s commitment to quality and improvement, as well as our ongoing investment in our business to better serve our customers and their fluid management needs.”
Terracon expects the new ISO designation to reinforce its reputation for quality products and services, enabling it to build on customer relationships and expand its business both domestically and internationally.
From industrial mixers to bicarb units used for hemodialysis, Terracon designs and delivers custom plastic tanks and vessels for storage, mixing, and transport of a wide variety of fluids.
Founded in 1976, Terracon Corporation provides fluid management solutions to biopharmaceutical, medical, and alternative energy firms. The company is privately owned and based in Franklin, Mass.
