Integra Biotechnical, a division of Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Providien LLC, has hired Christopher Oleksy as division president. Integra Biotechnical, acquired by Providien in 2011, is a vertically integrated medical device contract manufacturer that provides services from product development and material procurement to injection molding, assembly, packaging and sterilization management for Class II and Class III devices.
Oleksy has more than 30 years of experience in the medical device industry serving in a variety of global management positions. Chris became president of ATEK Medical in 2005. Prior to ATEK, Oleksy held several executive supply chain management positions within Medtronic Inc. and, prior to that, Dow Corning Corp.
Oleksy has been known as a supply chain pioneer and thought leader who has developed, authored, presented, and successfully implemented customer-focused value chain thinking for more than 30 years. He was one of the founding authors of the global, industry American National Standards Institute's Supply Chain Operations Reference model (also called SCOR). Chris is a member of the editorial advisory board of Medical Product Outsourcing magazine, is APICS CPIM-certified, and is a graduate of the Kelly Business School at Indiana University.

In addition to the newest acquisition of Dynaroll Corporation (Sylmar, Calif.), a leading supplier of bearings, and contract manufacturer specializing in precision manufacturing, assembly and testing of advanced components for medical devices, other purcahsed include San Diego, Calif.-based companies Specialty Manufacturing Inc., a provider of plastic thermoformed component manufacturing, engineering and design services to the medical equipment marketplace; Integra Biotechnical; and Emergent Respiratory, a manufacturer of respiratory care products.
