Methods Machine Tools Inc., a supplier of precision machine tools, automation and accessories, is expanding in Sourthern California.
The company has added Steve Raucci as general manager, and he will be opening a new, expanded technology center in Anaheim, Calif. New applications, sales and service staff are also being added to support the expansion, the Sudbury, Mass.-based company reported.
“We are pleased to announce the appointment of Steve Raucci as general manager of our Southern California operations and our new, expanded Technology Center,” said Bryon Deysher, president and CEO. “With Steve’s established Methods’ track record and machine tool sales and management experience, in addition to the new center and personnel, we anticipate growth and enhanced customer support in the vital Southern California region.”
“The expanded operations, key new personnel and support are critical to Methods’ west coast strategy,” added Fernando R. Garcia, Methods’ general manager based in Northern California. Garcia recently joined the company to head up Methods’ West Coast operations.
Raucci has been a western regional manager for Methods Machine Tools since 2004. Prior to that he ran successful businesses in Arizona and Illinois, selling and servicing EDM products for more than 10 years.
The new Southern California Technology Center will be approximately 12,000 square feet and will replace Methods’ previous center located in Buena Park Calif. The larger center will include a spacious showroom and classroom, and accommodate a full complement of Methods’ machines under power.
The center will have the latest machine tool and automation technology with application experts on-site, according to the company. Machines include Citizen Turning Centers, FANUC RoboDrill Vertical Machining Centers & Wire EDM Machines, FEELER High Performance Machining Centers & Turning Centers, Yasda Precision Machining Centers, KIWA-Japan Horizontal Machining Centers, metrology solutions including VisionGauge Digital Optical Comparators, Tooling, and Spare Parts.
Methods Machine Tools has been in operation for more than 50 years.
