Rogan Corp., a molder of plastic components, has added a new 1,500-square-foot clean room to its manufacturing facility. This addition coincides with the Northbrook, Ill.-based firm's recently expanded contract manufacturing and assembly operations. The new clean room was created to meet increasing medical and pharmaceutical device industry demand for liquid silicone rubber molding and assembly capability, according to the company.
The new Class 100,000 clean room houses manufacturing and assembly operations.With the Phase I clean room now in operation, Phase II, involving further expansion to meet projected future growth, is in the planning stages, officials noted.
Rogan also has added four new horizontal and vertical Liquid Silicone Rubber injection-molding presses.
