The expanded staff represents over 40 years hands-on technical experience from industry leading companies in the implant device and pharmaceutical industries. The three new positions include Process Development, Extrusion and Quality functions.
Mike Borek will be responsible for management of cGMP development and manufacturing projects as the group’s Project Engineer. Mike served in a similar function at Davol Inc. where he was a Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer working on fiber, film and fabric manufacturing processes for polymeric and other biomaterial based implants for permanent and bioresorbable soft tissue repair products
Jeffrey Adler will provide hands-on expertise as the group’s cGMP extrusion technician. Jeffrey previously served as lead pharmaceutical technical specialist at Pfizer Inc. where he worked on manufacturing of liquid drug dosage forms.
Richard Stoddard will serve as the quality assurance leader, assuring that all products and processes are in compliance with customer and regulatory standards. Richard previously held manufacturing and quality assurance positions at Pfizer Inc. where he worked to transfer drug dose formulations from development through scale up and clinical manufacturing.
