“Pilar’s experience with Lean manufacturing in a high mix, high throughput environment is extremely valuable to us given our steep projected growth curve this year. In addition, she will develop the launch plan for establishing operations when we eventually expand to Mexico,” said John Sammut, Firstronic CEO.
Michael Flynn, who previously served as operations manager is being redeployed as lead program manager. His responsibilities will include both program management and defining key program management processes relative to the Plex ERP/ProManage systems integration this year.
“Michael’s extensive systems and operations knowledge is critical in ensuring that our Plex ERP system is efficiently integrated with our proprietary ProManage program management system. He will be redefining existing program management processes to ensure that they align correctly with the added capabilities that Plex brings. We aren’t simply integrating a new ERP capability. We are laying the foundation for our next phase of evolution as an EMS provider,” Sammut added.

Headquartered in Grand Rapids, MI, Firstronic has a 35,000 square foot facility, state-of-the-art equipment and a seasoned management team with an average tenure of 20 years.
