EtQ has announced its new Project Control Module, part of the 6.0 Release of EtQ Reliance for Quality and FDA Compliance Management.
As part of any Quality of Compliance initiative, the ability to complete projects on time and within budget is of key importance to managers. EtQ’s project control module is designed to organize and automate the process of managing tasks, deliverables and activities within Quality and Compliance projects. Using the Project Control module, Managers are able to outline specific project, whether on an ad-hoc basis or using pre-defined templates such as APQP, PPAP, Six Sigma and more. From the outline, the manager is able to assign tasks and set up roles within the company to ensure that the right person completes activities within the project timeline, at the right time. Using workflow and business rules, the EtQ Project Control Module aids managers in ensuring that the project is kept on track, and the full cost and impact of the project is recorded.
This workflow-based approach to project management enables companies to take advantage of EtQ’s robust technology to ensure that projects are handled efficiently, and data within the project is visible and reportable to management. EtQ’s Project Control is completely integrated into EtQ’s comprehensive Quality Management solution – Document Control, Corrective Action, Complaint Handling, Audits and more have the capability to be linked to the Project Control module. This dual-linking capability allows for cross-collaboration with other modules within EtQ system, further providing a seamless environment between the quality system and quality related project.
“Project Control plays a key role in fostering enterprise collaboration within a company”, says Glenn McCarty, Chief Executive Officer at EtQ. “EtQ’s Project Control Module provides a sold backbone by which companies can manage their critical projects, while automatically and seamlessly linking key quality data into their activities.” Glenn goes on to say that many companies are project-based, so the ability to use EtQ Reliance as a project management tool in conjunction with their Quality Management system can provide a true enterprise collaborative environment, linking Quality with Safety, Supplier Management, Contract Manufacturing, Production, Financial, Environmental, and more. “What we’re seeing with Project Control is a level of collaboration that will go beyond quality and compliance, reaching out to all areas within a company, while providing a simple and intuitive interface for managing important deliverables within the enterprise.”
