FARMINGDALE, NY: EtQ is pleased to announce the addition of graphical decision tree functionality in its latest release, Reliance 6.2.
The EtQ decision tree allows users to create a Web-based list of related questions that are dependent on each other, so that the results of the questions will impact the business process and produce quantitative results such as a risk ranking, subsequent questions or related actions. In the latest release of EtQ Reliance, users are able to use EtQ’s graphical administration tool, EtQ Designer, to seamlessly produce decision trees in any application.
The decision tree is an effective way of automating business rules by guiding the user towards the right step in the process. It can also be used to effectively conduct a Risk Assessment. The EtQ decision tree can now be created in the EtQ Designer graphical administration tool, and the list of questions and answers and associated responses are defined in a decision tree profile that can be administered by the process owner.
"EtQ's decision tree technology guides the user in the right direction," stated Morgan Palmer, Chief Technology Officer at EtQ. "The decision tree presents the user with the best option based on rules that are defined by the business process. For example, a Change Management process might use decision trees to determine the correct action items that need to be completed for each type of change. In the newest release, EtQ makes the creation of these valuable decision trees fast and efficient through the use of EtQ Designer."
EtQ's enhanced decision tree functionality is just one of the newest features available in Reliance 6.2.
