Former AdvaMedDx Board Chair Joins Bruker’s Governing Body

Bruker Corporation has appointed Thierry L. Bernard to its Board of Directors. The international life sciences tools and diagnostics industry executive has decades of relevant leadership, strategic, and operational experience.

Bernard is currently CEO of QIAGEN N.V. He joined the company in 2015 to lead its growing molecular diagnostics business and was promoted to the top spot in 2019. He has announced his intention to step down as CEO upon the appointment of a successor.

Bernard held roles of increasing responsibility during 15 years with bioMérieux SA, including as corporate vice president for Global Commercial Operations, Investor Relations and the Greater China Region. He also held senior management roles in several other leading international companies.

In 2023, Bernard was named AdvaMedDx board chair and joined Neogen Corporation’s governing body in 2024. He has earned degrees and certifications from Sciences Po Paris, the London School of Economics, the College of Europe, Harvard Business School, and Centro de Comercio Exterior de Barcelona.
