An army of healthcare prractitioners has gathered in Sao Paulo this week to attend Hospitalar 2012, a yearly four-day event that allows the Latin American medical market to showcase its finest products and technical services. Hospitalar Founder and President Waleska Santos, M.D., said the conference "acts as a showcase for [healthcare] professionals, as a thermometer for the market and as a mirror for the sector. It is the reference point, comparison and benchmark for the industry to register its technological advances. At the same time, it stands as a large convention of the healthcare sector, bringing people together and congregating intelligences."
