Carpinteria, Calif.-based Helix Medical LLC will be supplying silicone tubing to the PharmBIO Products business unit of W. L. Gore & Associates Inc. Gore will use the silicone tubing manufactured by Helix Medical within the single-use assemblies for its global pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical customers.

“This collaboration allows us to focus on the development of high-performance, technology-driven products while continuing to supply our customers with quality and value. The collaboration with Helix Medical will also enable Gore to expand our efforts around Gore Sta-Pure Pump Tubing, Fluid Sampling System, and molded tubing assemblies to serve our customers better,” said Ken Parker, global sales leader for Gore.

Helix Medical provides silicone extrusion in the United States, Europe, and in Costa Rica beginning in the first quarter of this year. All Helix Medical facilities worldwide are certified ISO 13485 and extrusion takes place within Class 8 cleanrooms.
