Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics Inc. has agreed to lease 22,442 square feet of office and lab space in Cambridge’s Discovery Park.
The health care diagnostics company will lease the entire sixth floor of the Cambridge, MA, site. The office park is owned by the Bulfinch Cos. Inc. and includes tenants such as Harvard Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, FoldRx and TIAX LLC.
Siemens will locate the Oncogene Science Biomarker Group—a division of Siemens which develops, manufactures, and markets high quality, ready-to-use cancer reagent systems for commercial and clinical research customers—in the recently completed six-story building. Siemens acquired Oncogene in 1999.
Cambridge Discovery Park is located on 27 acres and is permitted for an additional 700,000 square feet of office, laboratory and research-and-development space, bringing the park to 820,000 square feet when completed. The park is located along Route 2 and is close to Route 128, the Alewife MBTA station and downtown Boston, MA.
