SenoRx said a request for a preliminary injunction, filed by Hologic and two its subsidiaries against SenoRx, was denied by the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.

The pending patent infringement suit is related to sales of Contura MLB, a catheter for delivering radiation to the tissue surrounding the lumpectomy cavity following surgery for breast cancer.

The court ordered the parties to schedule a trial within 60-90 days, according to SenoRx.
