Tim Steele, Founder/Owner, MicroSpec Corporation02.03.21
MPO reached out to members of industry to address the following question:
What do you expect will be one significant change within medtech development and/or manufacturing as a result of the pandemic?
In response, Tim Steele, founder and owner of MicroSpec Corporation, said:
I think the way we communicate will be the most significant change in medtech and most other industries as well. The use of virtual meetings, which have been around a long time, has exploded during the pandemic and this is true for both intra-company meetings and inter-company meetings. We have found that in some cases, such as brainstorming, the old in-person meeting is more effective, but we have also found that the convenience of the virtual meeting cannot be matched. So without a doubt, the way we communicate has been changed in a positive way due to the pandemic.
