Noxilizer Inc. has hired Robert Contino as director of U.S. customer and technical service. Contino will be responsible for developing, building and directing the company’s customer service delivery program in the United States, with a focus on implementing efficient processes and delivering on customer expectations.

Contino brings more than 20 years of hands-on experience in industrial and healthcare sterilization, including building and managing technical support teams. Prior to joining Noxilizer, he served as senior regional service and business manager at Irvine, Calif.-based Advanced Sterilization Products, a Johnson & Johnson company. Contino’s service team was the top-performing group in eight of the last 12 years and led the industry in customer satisfaction, according to Noxilizer.

Contino will be based at Noxilizer’s headquarters in Baltimore, Md.
Noxilizer provides room temperature nitrogen dioxide sterilization technology, sells sterilization and decontamination equipment, and offers contract sterilization services to medical device, biotechnology and pharmaceutical manufacturers. Founded in 2004, the company is privately held and has offices in the United Kingdom and Japan.
