Catawba Research has hired Syed Faridi as vice president of Global Business Development.
Syed has nearly two decades of experience in clinical research as well as significant expertise as a sales leader. "I am thrilled about Syed joining our leadership team. Syed most recently served as senior director of Business Development at Clinical Ink. Before that, he worked for Medidata Solutions for nearly five years, starting as Pricing Strategy & Analytics director, then transitioning to Senior Partner Business manager and ending his tenure there as Team Lead, Partner Business Management. Prior to Medidata, Syed worked for Parexel for nine years, serving in various roles: Clinical Research technician, Early Phase Clinical Study coordinator, Business Operations associate, Senior Feasibility and Proposal manager, and senior manager, Pricing Centre of Excellence.
In his new role, Syed will spearhead the cultivation and expansion of strategic client relationships, champion sales and marketing practices, and develop and execute go-to-market strategies.
