MGS, a leading end-to-end solutions provider, has launched its Global Engineering Services Group, bringing together over 200 toolmakers and 85 engineers across the globe. This will allow MedTech, Diagnostic, and Pharma innovators to build projects across the entire production process.
This follows the Company’s planned acquisitions to expand MGS’ front-end engineering skills and global capacity across North America and Europe.
MGS creates and design scalable automation solutions that drive quality-controlled manufacturing processes to deliver and maximize ROI. Company solutions include end-of-arm tooling, press-side, proof-of-concept, decoupled indexing, and continuous motion systems.
“Our Global Engineering Services Group is a critical link in meeting growing demand from leading healthcare companies for holistic manufacturing solutions from concept through delivery,” said president and CEO, Paul Manley. “We know from our roots in toolmaking that world-class manufacturing is dependent on early product development and design that supports innovative tooling and automation solutions with early insights into the production process.”
MGS’ global tooling team delivers hundreds of precision injection molds per year that can quickly scale large programs. Through recent European acquisitions, the company’s tooling capacity has expanded to over 200 toolmakers. More than 120 toolmakers and mold designers in Ireland, Germany, Belgium, Denmark, and Sweden gave local and reginal access to MGS’ tooling capacity.
Centers in the US and Denmark validate tools and molding processes in ISO 13485-certified buildings.
“The success of our Engineering Services Group is really measured in our ability to manufacture the highly critical, high-precision products that leading Pharma, Diagnostic and MedTech companies count on to gain a competitive advantage,” Manley added. “This means driving manufacturing productivity, repeatability, and cost savings. We can only achieve that manufacturing goal when product design, tooling and automation set us up to accomplish it. That’s why I’m so excited to see the impact that this new global engineering services group will have on customer outcomes.”
