Leading medical device developer and contact manufacturer, Arterex has announced the acquisition of Micromold, Inc.
Founded in 1984, Micromold supplies custom precision micromolded parts for the medical industry, with extensive experience in plastics injection molding. The company contains 20 BOY machines sizing from 10 to 33 tons in both horizontal and vertical configurations.
Micromold will continue its 24/7 operations, relocating from Riverside, CA to Arterex’s Formula Plastics division in Tecate, Mexico. Equipment and services will be employed within Arterex’s 3,000 sq ft Class 8 certified clean room with a ISO13485:2016 Quality system and is an FDA registered facility.
The company will continue to serve the medical, laboratory, diagnostics, dental, and optical markets.
