ForSight Robotics has appointed Sharon Levita as chief financial officer (CFO). She is tasked with leading the company's strategic and financial operations, focusing on driving business strategies, expanding strategic partnerships, and managing financial and growth objectives.

Levita has more than 20 years of industry experience working with private and publicly-listed companies. Most recently, Levita was Medtronic’s Business Development and Strategy leader at the company’s Cranial and Spinal Technologies operating unit, and as vice president of Business Operations and Medtronic Site Lead (formerly robotic spine surgery company Mazor Robotics) in Israel. Prior to this, Levita served as CFO and vice president of Business Operations at Mazor Robotics for more than a decade and led the company’s $1.6 billion acquisition by Medtronic in 2018. Her previous experience includes various leadership roles at medical laser company Lumenis and at KPMG Hungary.

In the past year, ForSight Robotics raised a record $55 million Series A funding round, doubled in size to 50 employees, and expanded its leadership team with the appointments of Dr. Yaron Levinson as head of Product and Ran Mendelewicz as head of Robotics. Levinson joined the company after a decade in the surgical robotics industry, most recently as vice president of R&D at Momentis Surgical, where he supported regulatory processes to receive U.S. Food and Drug Administration approval for the company's robotic system. Mendelewicz joined ForSight Robotics following 20 years in the medical device industry, most recently as vice president of R&D at intraocular implant company Nano Retina.
