RestorixHealth has appointed William H. Tettelbach, M.D., as chief medical officer (CMO). He last worked at HCA Healthcare as executive medical director of Wound & Hyperbaric Medicine Services for the Mountain Division.
Tettelbach is a certified wound specialist who is actively board certified in Undersea & Hyperbaric Medicine, Infectious Diseases and Internal Medicine with formal training in Biomedical Informatics. He has nearly 30 years of medical experience, including at a number of executive leadership roles, including principle medical officer of Medical Affairs and CMO, Wound & Surgical Recovery, MiMedx Group Inc.; and CMO for OnSite Advanced Care, the largest mobile wound care provider in Utah.

Earlier in his career, Tettelbach was medical director for various extended care, infection prevention, and wound care clinics, including those associated with Intermountain Healthcare in Utah. During that time, he established an Undersea & Hyperbaric Medicine Fellowship at Intermountain Health through a collaboration with Duke University, which provided hyperbaric medicine, wound care, and infectious diseases training to fellows and podiatry residents, and developed a telehealth wound care outreach program focused on improving wound-related outcomes in community/rural hospitals and home care settings. He continues to hold appointments with Duke University School of Medicine in Hyperbaric Medicine and Western University of Health Sciences in Podiatric Medicine.
Tettelbach lends his expertise to numerous professional societies, committees and associations and has co-authored numerous research articles and book chapters. An industry leader, he is a well-known presenter both domestically and internationally, patent holder and two-time award winner from the JWC World Union of Wound Healing Societies.
