Sol-Millennium Inc. has received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 510(k) clearance for its proprietary Sol-Guard Safety Pull Button Blood Collection Set, the newest safety device in the company's blood collection portfolio.
The Blood Collection Set features spring-activated needle retraction technology, designed to minimize the risk of accidental needlesticks and exposure to blood-borne pathogens.

With ease, safety and comfort in mind, the Sol-Guard Safety Pull-Button Blood Collection Set features an exclusive version of the “Butterfly Needle,” which contains a sliding button that with pull force, activates in-vein needle retraction, thereby helping prevent needlestick injury and bloodborne pathogen exposure.
