Medtech contract research organization (CRO) NAMSA intends to acquire ÅKRN Scientific Consulting, a Madrid, Spain-based medical device CRO that provides clinical and regulatory services to the medical device and diagnostics industries in Europe.
The intended transaction’s price and terms were undisclosed.
ÅKRN is especially known for its expertise in cardiovascular research. The organization helps sponsors move medtech products from discovery into clinical development, commercialization, and post-market follow-up.
