Haemonetics Corporation announced that William P. Burke, executive VP, chief financial officer (CFO), has decided to retire from the company. Burke will continue to serve as CFO while the Company conducts a search for his successor, and he will work closely with Haemonetics' next CFO through June 30, 2022 to ensure a seamless transition.
Burke joined Haemonetics as CFO in August 2016 after spending more than 20 years in finance and business leadership roles at leading healthcare companies, including Medtronic plc, Covidien plc, and Tyco Healthcare.
"Bill was my first hire at Haemonetics and has been the co-architect of our turnaround," said Chris Simon, Haemonetics' CEO.
