As president and general manager, Barnhill will guide the company’s commercial advancement and innovation strategies, as well as oversee all financial and operations infrastructure to support the company’s robust growth outlook.
Barnhill brings more than 20 years of experience in commercial leadership, primarily in the medical device industry. Over the course of his career, Barnhill has had repeated success in addressing unmet needs in the medical device space through education-based market development and successfully commercializing products. Furthermore, Barnhill has demonstrated results steering startup companies from early stage through exit as well as scaling established companies to reach their full market and growth potential.

Most recently, Barnhill served as vice president of Marketing and Business Development at OmniGuide Inc., where he led the commercial aspects of the next-generation surgical energy company, with a diverse product portfolio effectively created through the merger of three distinct private medical device companies. Prior to OmniGuide Inc., Barnhill held a position of similar title with RF Surgical Systems, which experienced rapid commercial growth that ultimately lead to its successful acquisition by Medtronic. Barnhill has also held various positions of increasing responsibility with both SenoRx and Edwards Lifesciences.
