Insulet Corporation, a provider of tubeless insulin pump technology with its Omnipod Insulin Management System, has announced the appointment of Bret Christensen as chief commercial officer. Christensen will run the company’s commercial operations, including sales, marketing, customer care, market access, and advocacy.
Christensen joins Insulet from Myriad Genetics, where he most recently served as general manager of its Preventive Care business unit.

Christensen brings more than 20 years of commercial experience to Insulet. He joins the Company from Myriad Genetics, where he served as general manager of Preventive Care, the company’s largest business unit, leading a team of more than 350 employees across all commercial functions. Prior to Myriad Genetics, Christensen held a series of executive positions at Hologic Corporation, including vice president of sales and marketing of its Gynecologic Surgical Products division. Prior to Hologic, he led key market development and sales teams at Cytyc Corporation. Christensen earned a B.S. in business management from Utah Valley University and received an MBA from the University of Utah.
