Millstone Medical announced that Edward Mackey has joined its Board of Directors, effective Oct. 1.
Mackey has served as executive vice president of global operations at Boston Scientific Corp. since February 2015. Prior to joining Boston Scientific, he served as worldwide president of DePuy Synthes Power Tools, a division of Johnson & Johnson, and vice president of integration for Johnson & Johnson’s acquisition of Synthes from 2010 to 2012. Mackey started as a plant manager with Johnson & Johnson in 1995 and advanced through a variety of supply chain and manufacturing roles, becoming worldwide vice president of supply chain and manufacturing for DePuy in 2007.

Mackey earned an M.B.A. from the University of Massachusetts and a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
With 15 years of experience in organizing outsourced supply chains, Millstone Medical is a provider of customized solutions to the medical device industry. Millstone operates three environmentally controlled facilities offering advanced inspection, clean room packaging, medical device specific warehousing, finished goods distribution, loaner kit management and after-market services. The company is based in Fall River, Mass.
