Minnetronix Inc. has hired Anthony Millar as vice president of operations. Millar has more than 15 years of healthcare industry experience in manufacturing, new product development, supply chain, quality assurance, and compliance.
Millar will play an integral role on Minnetronix’ leadership team, developing strategies to grow and expand capabilities for the company’s manufacturing operations. He will also oversee Minnetronix’s production teams in the manufacturing of technologies and devices for the company and its customers.
“Anthony has a wealth of industry experience and proven leadership in device manufacturing,” said Jeremy Maniak, Minnetronix chief operating officer. “We are pleased to welcome him to Minnetronix and know he will be a great asset to the company as we continue to grow and expand our operations.”
Millar joins Minnetronix from Greatbatch Medical, where he led manufacturing operations for multiple sites as executive director of operations. Prior to Greatbatch, Millar served as the director of operations for MedImmune, a division of AztraZeneca. His experience also includes multiple manufacturing and engineering management positions at Boston Scientific Corp. and production and finance positions at Guidant. Before his career in the healthcare industry, Millar served as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Millar is a Six Sigma Black Belt with significant experience in the application of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. He earned his bachelor of arts in political science from the University of Illinois. He was also awarded a master of science degree in Business Administration from Boston University and is currently pursuing a master of engineering management from Penn State.
