Narvitas Medical Devices International Limited (Narvitas) has announced the formation of its initial Clinical Advisory Board.
This Board of physicians and surgeons has been invited and accepted the positions to assist the company to expand it clinical footprint, evolve a deep pool of clinical data which validates each of the Narvitas platforms, and provide an interface with a broad spectrum of physicians and leading multi-national companies for enhanced collaboration.
This initial board comprises Andreas Thurkow, M.D., and Sebastiaan Vereesma, M.D., both of Amsterdam, Netherlands; and Mohan Sivananthan, M.D., of Leeds, United Kingdom.
"The depth and breadth of experience within our Clinical Advisory Board is a true statement to the potential of Narvitas," said Arthur Malvett, chief operating officer of Narvitas, noted. "Each of these physicians brings not only a deep knowledge of the clinical challenges facing the medical community in 2016, but also brings a wealth of knowledge of potential new modalities to improve outcomes and reduce costs to the health care system."
Narvitas has already begun commercialization of its leading product platform, the LapDome, in Europe and the Middle East.

LapDome addresses a critical need in the laparoscopic surgical market (one of the largest medical procedure markets) and was developed to advance the standard of care for laparoscopic access. Narvitas is based in the United Kingdom.
