NDH Medical Inc. of St. Petersburg, and its owner, Geary Havran, CEO, were recognized at the March 15th Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners meeting and thanked for doing business in Pinellas County.
The company has been in business and in Pinellas for more than 20 years. NDH is a leader in medical device manufacturing, a thriving industry sector in Pinellas.
NDH Medical is a provider of world-class custom extrusions and contract manufacturing services for the medical device industry. In addition, the company provides extrusion services for research and development trials through high volume production.
"Pinellas' strength in medical device manufacturing is recognized nationally," said Commission Chair Charlie Justice. "Geary Havran and NDH Medical are leaders in our community in advocating for this industry and working to advance its growth in Pinellas and throughout the state of Florida."
Havran was a founder of the Florida Medical Manufacturers Consortium, the statewide association of medical technology firms. The FMMC exists to unite, promote and grow the Florida medical device industry, and to enhance the business success of its member companies.
The consortium will hold the 2016 Florida Medical Manufacturers Symposium on May 9th and 10th at the Hilton Carillon in St. Petersburg. The Symposium is Florida's annual event for medical device manufacturing firms, featuring nationally-recognized speakers, expert panels on regulatory issues and industry trends, legislative updates and networking opportunities.
The "Thanks for Doing Business in Pinellas" recognition program was initiated by Commissioner Charlie Justice and seeks to bring attention to growing companies within Pinellas County.
