Medical Murray, a medical device development and contract manufacturing company, has hired Jim McKenney as senior business development manager for the Western U.S. region.
In his new role, McKenney will be responsible for supporting relationships with both existing and new customers in addition to identifying and cultivating sales opportunities. He will be based in Southern California and will be responsible for covering all states in the pacific and mountain time zones.
“We are very excited to welcome Jim to our sales team,” said Eric Leopold, vice president and head of Medical Murray’s California facility. “His new position addresses the needs of our growing business and will enhance close, hands-on collaboration to our existing customers.”
McKenney has more than 20 years of expertise in healthcare sales and medical device contract development and manufacturing. Prior to joining Medical Murray, he held key business development roles with Flextronics Medical, Sparton Medical and Bal Seal Engineering.
With headquarters just outside Chicago in North Barrington, Ill., Medical Murray has particular expertise with unique complex catheter systems, permanent implants and complex components for less-invasive vascular, urologic, and surgical applications. The company was founded in 1996 and also has facilities in Charlotte, N.C., and in the Bay Area of San Francisco, Calif.
