Lone Tree, Colo.-based Zynex Inc. a medical technology company that makes non-invasive medical devices for pain management, stroke rehabilitation, neurological diagnostics and compound pharmacy, has been awarded accreditation for its Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics, Orthotics and Supplies (DMEPOS) program from the Accreditation Commission for Health Care.
“We are pleased to receive this important accreditation, which further validates the operational improvements made at Zynex over the past year,” said CEO of Zynex Thomas Sandgaard. “We are committed to providing our customers with the highest quality products and service available in the market. Zynex has also completed the audit of our compound pharmacy operations and we expect to receive accreditation for that operation in the near future.”
DMEPOS quality standards were established in 2003 by the U.S. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. DMEPOS-accredited suppliers are able to obtain or maintain Medicare billing privileges.
