Secant Medical Inc. has a new leader.
The Perkasie, Pa.-based company appointed Jeff Robertson as president. Robertson has been with the company since August 2011, during which time he has managed the strategic oversight of business development, marketing, client accounts, and operations. He most recently served as vice president, strategic business development.

Robertson joined Secant Medical from ARmark Authentication Technologies, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Adhesives Research, Inc. Robertson co-developed ARmark Authentication Technologies in 2005 and served as director and general manager. Previously, he held positions at Adhesives Research as Northeast regional manager, business development manager, and general manager of a global business unit. He began his career in pharmaceutical sales at Bock Pharmaceuticals and Bristol Meyers Squibb.
Secant Medical designs and manufactures biomedical textiles and material structures for medical devices, blending polymeric, metallic and resorbable biomaterials to create custom, high-performance structures used in the cardiovascular, general surgery, neurovascular, orthopedic and regenerative medicine fields. Secant Medical is a business unit of Fenner PLC, a worldwide leader in reinforced polymer engineering headquartered in Yorkshire, England.
