Terracon Corporation has moved its office and manufacturing facility from its old headquarters in Hollison, Mass., to a larger space in Franklin. The company provides fluid management solutions to several industries including medical devices.
According to Terracon president, Rob Jewett, the move was necessitated by the significant growth the company has realized in the last few years.
“As our products and solutions have become better known in the industry, demand has risen—and quickly,” said Jewett. “Our new office and manufacturing space is 50 percent larger than our previous offices and offers a more efficient layout. It will support our continued growth and expansion, and provide a better work environment for current and future staff. I think it underscores our commitment to both our customers and our employees.”
The new 18,000-square-foot facility includes a concrete entry ramp designed to accommodate trucks and heavy machinery and a 14-square-foot overhead door to enable large-scale tanks and vessels to be moved easily in and out of the building. Jewett said the building’s close proximity to Interstate 495 will also benefit customers and employees.
Terracon Corporation designs, engineers, and manufactures special purpose plastic vessels for fluid containment, mixing, and processing solutions.
